We all start the new year with goals that we hope to fulfill, however, whether we succeed or not is really in our control. We have good intentions, but sometimes we bite off more than we can chew and sometimes we just need a little help and support. That is where I come in. I can help keep you motivated in terms of exercise and wellness goals. Sometimes all you need is to check in with someone to be held accountable. If I can’t help you, I have many contacts in various fields who I can refer you to who could help. Some of these resources are Life Coach, dietitian/nutritionist, spiritual guidance, etc. All you need to do is reach out to me.
Fitness resolutions usually last 6-8 weeks. Many people start to workout and absolutely hate what they are doing. You must pick something you enjoy doing. If you don’t enjoy any form of exercise, then try doing something that involves other people. This can help you stay motivated, take your mind off of what you are doing and to keep you accountable. Start slow, only working out for a short period of time and then slowly add more time. Once you are up to 30 minutes you can speed up a little bit. Even if you only have time for 10 minutes something is better than nothing at all. You can even start with marching in place every hour for a few minutes. Even with eating choices start small. Focus on improving one meal at a time or focus on cutting back on junk food, sweets, or whatever you decide. Start small, accomplish that successfully then move on to the next thing.
By the way, my friend Alisa Bloom will be starting a great program again soon. Eat Outside The Box. It’s cutting out processed food. It’s a great program with menus, recipes and education. Plus, watch for Alisa’s Goal setting article coming. Watch my FB page for more information.
If you need more information on this program or help with starting your fitness routine, please send me an email.
